1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
My favorite word is empathy as I have experienced it first hand through my charity, Erick’s Hope. It is the key to communication, compassion and understanding of others. Through empathy, I have learned first hand that we can make changes together to help end poverty and hunger in America.
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Confidence! Confidence is behind every smile, laugh, and joyful moment. One who is confident in themselves, their appearance, their accomplishments, and their abilities always projects true beauty. I am a believer that beauty comes from the inside out.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
After losing my only maternal cousin Erick last summer to a genetic heart defect, I learned I have the ability to cope with difficult situations and grow from them. Erick’s Hope, a non profit organization, was created in the spirit of his incredible passion for helping those in need.
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
Monday! Many people dread Mondays because it marks the end of the weekend and the beginning of a new work/school week. I look at Mondays as a fresh start and a new chance to make my mark on the world and continue to grow as an individual.
5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
My family!!!! They are behind me in everything I do and I feel so incredibly blessed for that. They have been in my corner through every hardship, every crazy dream, every failure, and every success. My family has molded me into the person that I am proud to be today.
